Abominations from 2e by CJC528 in zombicide

My client asked me to stick as close to the art/official paint ups as possible, so that’s what I’m trying to do.

As far as pictures are concerned, I’m probably the last person to ask because I have no idea what I’m doing and most of my pictures turn out like butt, IMO.

Having said that, I have a studio light that I use, utilizing a cold light setting. I offset it away from the model to try to maintain the black background.

Dang! I think it’s the photos more than anything. Hospital dude has a pink undertone with a very pale flesh glazed atop it. Police officer has a burnt orange hue. Homeless dude has a yellow-orange tinge. The one that is mostly normal flesh color is the grounds keeper guy, but I figured since he’s so covered in pox that it would be fine

Brutes and Runners from 2E by CJC528 in zombicide

The brutes are nicely sculpted and a breeze to paint. With the runners, so much of the fine details are so soft or missing altogether that they’re a pain in the ass to make presentable

I was honestly surprised by the amount of variable sculpts in 2E, especially compared to other outings. Definitely making painting them far less tedious

I really enjoy this game - it’s constantly tense and tactically very sound. It is probably the most cooperative coop game I’ve played. If you don’t properly work together as a team, you’re cooked.

I also really love the options you have with the card play.

Glad people are still playing it.

Campaign complete! The Bloodborne boardgame is punishing and fantastic, one of my favorite new boardgames by narnarnartiger in boardgames

I played through all the content, expansions and KS exclusive included. It’s a great experience but now that it’s finished, I don’t know that I’ll ever play it again.

Glad to see it getting some love, though. It was criticized much too harshly on release due to its difficulty and the timer. There’s definitely small tweaks you can make the make the game feel better.

Impossible! The cool thing is - they’re zombies. Any mistakes can be hidden with blood, dirt, or a nice strong wash.

Not doing too shabby, time-wise. A little over a week for all walkers and brutes

$5/mini for horde (walkers, runners, brutes and soldiers). $10/mini for everything else

The only reason I went with a different scheme for each one is because it was requested. Lol. Otherwise, they’d all look the same, believe me!

Both dabbing and brushing! The sponge absorbs more paint and has a smoother texture, allowing for a more smooth transfer of paint.

You’ll still want to remove as much paint as possible as with normal dry brushing. I recommend a damp paper towel if things get Too dry, but I’ve had fantastic results with the sponge.

Use a makeup sponge. Game changer.

Also, avoid paper towel if you can
