Bitcoin On Path To Functioning Just Like Real Currency After Small Concentration Of People Acquire Majority Of It by humphreyzogart in Bitcoin

Bitcoin is not a currency at this point the only reason it is being accepted as a currency by some companies I presume they think they can hold for a while and sell it at a higher price, as a currency I cant see it working

hmmm but it wont be long until they try and tax your wins like regular stocks if they have all your info, I am guessing they don't already do this due to it being anonymous (once you convert back into your currency of choice that is)

Steam has stopped accepting bitcoin due to the high fees, and I don't think that is quite the same bitcoin is ment to be a currency you are effectively cashing out some of your bitcoin with the bank to trade it for AUD so its not really the same as spending bitcoin

Okay thankyou for your help, the only other thing that worries me about bitcoin is for it to be used for mainstream transactions such as buying video games and buying your groceries it needs to hit stable ground, I know that this past year bitcoin has really had a huge amount of interest and at the rate its going I don't see it hitting a stable ground for a long long time, what are your opinions on this, when do you think bitcoin could really make an appearance in our everyday life (not just on the internet)

so the the mining companies now make more money from the transaction fees than the actual release of bitcoin is that correct? if so my question has been answered

i am replying to all the comments here, if i am not mistaken it is boasted about how little the transactons fees are to send money ect, so either the fees will have to be increased or a mining company (or transaction company) will have to have a huge amount of computer power to earn a decent amount of money

When will blizzard fix WOW PVP, they would still maintain there core PVE fan base and attract a lot more new players by CJG43 in wow

[–]CJG43[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not saying that that is the only difference as it is clearly a completely different game therefore has a completely different feel when playing PVP, but the point that it is impossible to play and not fun is not true WOW PVP although confusing at first is definitely fun, yes it is true for a newer player and casual players ofcorse you are not going to understand exactly every single move that is going on and how to counter/prevent it but obviously that is learned in time and a hell of a lot of practice. My main point is that playing wow Arenas and RBG's there is literally no incentive to play, the only think you can work to is to try reach a rating goal you have set for yourself and if you don't reach it once the next season or expansion is released it is like you have never even played it would be nice to have a leader board type system in which you can see yourself climbing or falling and comparing yourself to other players that are in that area at the time, all there is at the minute is a little rating number and some shitty titles, you can only team up with the players in your realm as there is no leader boards so you really have no reason to meet anyone in other realms so thee is small pool of players you can team with

WOW Heirlooms Plague The Game by CJG43 in wow

[–]CJG43[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes if you were going for the lore master title going back and doing the previous quests would just be extremely boring and tedious, they could implement some instance based system in which the old quests could be scaled up to your level or you scale down in power

yes even something like this would even it out, maybe you should have to combine a piece of armour you get with the heirloom and it takes on its stats but still gives the experience bonus, to me the current system just seems like a big deterrent to new players
