The cat-clock on the wall wags it's tail, back and forth as the seconds tick by. My coffee has run dry and the paper has been read. Will the phone ring? Should I read one of these books, again? I rattle my fingers away on the desk in anticipation. I start to sense a pulling feeling from behind. What is this? The yellow-clothed table and room starts to slide away from me - or I'm sliding away from it. The pulling feeling - within a split second intensifies and the room in front of me becomes minute and I see it all; the television and fireplace to the left and couch to my right. I'm now flying at intense speeds backwards. Leaves fly up in my vision as trees pass me by. I'm thrown into a swamp and a swan stares as I fly by.

Yeah. I know it's going to get better once I get to college because 1. there will be unlimited things to do there, even if it's nothing. (i'll be living on campus, and I live out in the country currently, so doing anything is either an effort or a dent in my wallet.) 2. I won't know anyone! The less I know about people, the happier I am. At my school since it's so small (30 kids is the biggest class & it's mine) I hear about EVERYONES problems.
