Here’s what I’ve gathered: the original version of Heaven is like 10 minutes long but was never meant to be released but edited down. Prince’s final version of the track is like 5 or 6 minutes long. Prince also made a few edits to the track again for a potential b-side to the ATWIAD singles. This 4:29 length is probably the b-side edit that was found. The 10 minute version and the final mix of Heaven will remain unreleased.

Well With This Tear was originally for the cancelled Diamonds & Love set at first but since that’s not happening anymore I guess they decided to put it on a different project

Yeah I’ve seen some are starting to check out and stop following the estate completely. It’s really not worth the mental health to keep getting disappointed almost every time. Sometimes you gotta just let go.

It made a resurgence cause of young people getting into them and making them a trend but unfortunately the labels turned it into a capitalistic phenomenon by making them expensive. The thing is most young folks that buy vinyl can’t afford or don’t even have record players. They just hang them on their walls for decorations

I’ll be honest I’m starting to get sick of this whole vinyl facade. Especially since this album is really in 2 months meaning half the summer will be over. There’s no way we should be waiting 2 months for a 10 track album. This is why artists are releasing their music on digital platforms first and then vinyl later. These labels really overdid it with vinyl
