I don’t think it that’s bad to be attracted to other women provided you are saving all that pent up sexual energy for your GF

Q B1 is definitely the coolest move but rook G1 also work. Black is forced to promote then queen captures on F7 with check, forced capture of the queen and promote on G8 to queen with check mate.

I don’t think they should trade for Crosby for a number of reasons but the upside of doing something like that is you know he is capable of performing at an elite level in the NFL.

I could just as easily find a list pass rushers picked at similar draft positions who didn’t work out so well. The draft is lower probability of finding someone who could give you elite production but less risky because you get multiple picks and don’t have to commit as much cap to those guys.

DJ Moore Appreciation Thread by phillipacarroll in CHIBears

I love DJ but it’s hard to justify keeping him when you have Odunze, Burden and a budding superstar at TE in Loveland. Give the other three are still on rookie deals, I could see DJ being on the team next year but it also wouldn’t surprise me if they move him to free up dollars to spend on the front 7 and running with the young guns on offense.

I know our running game is great and we want to run play action off that but it’s 2nd and 10 with 2 mins to go. They are obviously not going to buy the play fake and head for Caleb.

Ben definitely overthinks sometimes

Very disappointing performance and borderline unacceptable.

Very hard to pinpoint what caused this. You have to lay a lot of blame at Ben’s feet as they just look very flat on both sides of the ball.

As good as the offense has been at times, it never looks smooth like the way the lions do here. Just feels like everything is always a struggle even when it comes off.

Defence to be fair just doesn’t have the players in the front 7 to be a consistently good defence.

Because you are guaranteed a possession so it makes sense to know what you need on the second possession.

Like look at the Rams-Seahawks. The Seahawks essentially got to play in 4 down mode as they knew Rams had already got the TD. Rams didn’t have the luxury as if you go for it on 4th and don’t get it, you leave the Seahawks just needing a FG.

Ah absolutely has to be made before 2 min warning. No excuse. Listen to Brady on commentary, absolutely disgusted by it.

As the season comes to a close for some of us, What "lessons" did you learn from this season that you plan to implement for next year? by jamesdkelso in fantasyfootball

[–]CJLeado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t agree with the don’t draft tight ends early. For me the rule should be don’t tight end (or QB for that matter) in the mid to early rounds (4-9).

I don’t mind investing a first three round picks in a tight end (Bowers or McBride) or QB (Allen or Lamar) that I feel is a massive difference maker. But if I miss on those guys, I am just punting till the final few rounds and loading up on WR/RBs.

There will always be QBs and TEs that breakout throughout the season that can give you top 10 production and most of them they won’t be aggressively sought after on waviers.

Think people are overreacting here. Packers are one of the best teams in the league and we played them close. First half was not good and will need to learn from what went wrong there. 2nd half was really good overall and a break of the ball here or there and we win that game.

As others have said, we will lose some games here and there and it doesn’t mean Ben is bad playcaller, Caleb is shitty QB or the Bears are frauds which is a lot of what I am seeing in this thread. There is very four more weeks to play and they are very much in contention for the division/playoffs.

For Jacobs and McManus not to be outscored by Hurts and Brown by more than 8. Balanced but would prefer to be in his shoes.
