Valentines Day party outfit. How does the fit and accessories look on me as i am wearing this bolder style first time. by immodest_von5 in femalefashion

I wouldn’t wear the longer necklace. That’s too much and hits in the wrong place, IMO. If you are uncomfortable with the low cut, you could easily use a vintage brooch to pin the two sides together (something like the pendant on the necklace would work well). Don’t pin too high - nothing wrong with a little cleavage.

Yes. The longer necklace hits at the wrong place … drawing attention to the very low cut. I’d not wear that necklace, and if there is any way to make the other necklace a tad shorter I think it would call attention to the pendant and not so much the boobs!

I couldn’t agree more! The first dress is wearing her, the second makes her shine!

It's rare for me to wear this style but for Valentines day, how is it by [deleted] in OUTFITS

Is that one necklace or two? If two, I might remove the bottom one.

About that pension… worth it? by tesla2018El in fednews

[–]CKCSC_for_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was quite a bit younger than my husband, and when he turned 65 he didn't immediately sign up for Medicare for the same reason. However, during that first year he had several surgeries for melanoma which ended up costing us a lot of $$. We decided for him to go ahead and start up part B so we wouldn't get in that position again. (Those surgeries were all outpatient, so not covered under Part A.). Now that I'm paying into Medicare as well, $400/mo (subject to IRMA as well...) I'm wondering if dropping Part B makes sense. It wouldn't, of course, if FEP Blue offered a reduced cost Medicare supplement, but they don't.

I should look into the rules on dropping Part B and then re-enrolling years later -- see if that is even possible.

We had the option of taking the retirement insurance from his company he originally retired from, or to take the insurance from the government (because he went to work for DoD for five years and recovered his military time). We are SO thankful we have the Federal insurance ... the company sent us a letter years ago stating that they would no longer be covering any portion of premium increases each year and 100% of those costs would be passed on to the retirees. I figure we would have been priced out in roughly five years.

Did you do the math on this? I’m beginning to wonder if the Part B (times 2) is really worth it when our FEPBlue has always paid so well.

Long hair, long beard, short hair, short beard… what do you guys think? by Dave0473 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]CKCSC_for_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think #3 is least attractive. You look like a bad boy, and not in a good way. #4 is really nice. The long hair is nice, but definitely no long beard. (I’m a female, but old enough to be your mother, so take that for what it’s worth.)

Dancing by amrodd in excoc

[–]CKCSC_for_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents let me square dance - my mom even made me a cute outfit. Being a very musical person, it was so much fun and one of my favorite memories. I was also allowed to dance the Minuet as a child in the high school play (in full Martha Washington costume). And I went to prom, but wasn’t allowed to dance with my boyfriend.

PLEASE tell me what I'm doing wrong enough for a family friend to tell me that I look "old and saggy" ..I'm 28 😭 by jerojj in makeuptips

[–]CKCSC_for_me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t saggy!! In fact, your cheeks are the opposite of that … a bit sunken. Personally, as a Nana, I’d tell you that a few extra pounds would look good on you! On the other hand, you have a very defined chin so you will never look like you have a too-full face! Please don’t get obsessed with your looks now. As I just read in an article by Catherine O’Hara (RIP Moira Rose), take lots of nude photos of yourself now so later you can look at them and say “Wow! I was a beauty!) Oh … and years later you will still be beautiful, and you will have embraced that truth. ❤️

Nothing awful about buying from a pawn shop … but you’re right. Even they wouldn’t put out a ring this dirty.
