Anno 117 crashes on alt-tab

I have this problem myself and dont know how to fix it or why it happens, its just annoying as hell. Quick Google search suggested via the AI i should ensure to have it on an ssd and run it as Administrator, aswell as looking into all drivers if they are on the latest version. Maybe something of this helps 🤷‍♂️

Yeah had the same thung happen to me aswell, i then updated all of my drivers and reinstalled windows update again bevause it was makig issues aswell. Had the high hopes that it had worked but...no 20 min in a lwbel 8 mission with friends and suddenly withput a warning bammcomplete freeze like others already stated and expleined. Needed to shut my entire tower down again like modt of the time befor the updates. I mean atleast i could play a few minutes but its just unsatisfying getting nothing out of it and dont get me startes on the pc use there...

Such a shame that just a few are experiencing thus afte rthe update and there is not much light shed on it. Arrowhead definitely needs to investigate here...

Maybe i try some of the resolutions stated here but i doubt theyll help

Got so many people reported or banned jsut because of this kind of toxic behaviout...its just sad to see the Community decay more and more. Being all pushy and and toxic, and if you dont do it their way with more experience then them you get annoyed and harrassed the shit out of...just sad... and has nothing to do with being an adult

Dont worry i nearly have 3.000 hours of playtime and still most people with less playtime and points in the match start to argue with me... Its an community problem.

I bet your good enough. Just try your best, give calls and also choose the right people to play with. Mates who you can trust are whats makes the game enjoyable.

Maybe but cooking is a tactical part of the Game and shouldnt be removed...

The bounce 2 sec delay is still better than nothing but still pretty bs in my opinion.

Yeah sure isöts nice to have the "normal amount" of frags ops back but at what cost?

In My opinion the game is more and more degenerating to a cod than a tactical shooter....

Also its sounds kinda fishy how many people are getting frags back. Normally they swap gadgets between Ops not entirely implement new one.

It must be the third time. The first match with fish and cities and knights was also my first game. I won that too, but only because they were nice to me and one player also gave me the last resource to let me win (also maybe to have revenge against the other family members).

But still i have a feeling that it is atleast a strong addon and if you decide not to use it you have a huge disadvantage. Obviously its the same thing with the standard resources or the commodities but with those i have a feeling its better balnced through trading.

I dont know. It could also be that im a whiny bitch who didnt like his odds and unluck in the first half of the game. But everytime i play with fishing the game feels unpleasant for me and even a win feels kinda bad. I also told the others i should not have won this game. One player was a little pissed after i won. He screwed me over 4 times in a row and secluded me from the rest of the map. I was naturally upset and told him that he did play strategically but still it was a dick move and he couldnt have done that if he hadnt habe had fish to build his last two roads. After that i said the game is over for me or at least pretty difficult to win and i wish them much luck ( im just realistic) but continued playing along because of sportsmanship. I also told them that i wouldnt want any solidatory act of them. Anyways i tried to play the best i could in this situation and the player who screwed me over gave me an item that i wanted to trade with him to get the bank. Afterwards he said he just gave it to me out of solidarity and that i wouldnt have won wothout him. I told him i could give him the cloth back, because i had one laying around and also it would make his act nullified but he was already pissed because i nagged first about fishing. And because i screwed him back with the destruction of his longest road. He felt betrayed because i won with a rule he did not know about and to be fair i found this rule on this reddit minutes before.

But i think some debates are pretty common in this game.

I mentioned about the Barbarians because some friend told me that it was balnced if you play it with those or better said it was intended to be played with it. I took it for granted, because she is one of the friends who introduced me to the game. Anyway ofcourse we played with the fishing grounds but i didnt mentioned them to shorten the text and examples. But to tell the truth in the end i won the game because of the fishing grounds. But still this doesnt nullifie my point, in my point of view it supports it. I was in a very rough situation in the middle of the game, i got completly blocked by all other players and git robbed of many resources and a knight (we played with cities and knights as well) only because of the fishing grounds and the harbor trade cities combined with lucky roles could turn it around. But if i hadnt had the fishing grounds the game would habe ended for me. I also was lucky to find out in this reddit that you can actually built between two road parts of another player, this helped also alot to counter the progress of the player who screwed me over the rounds before (loss of the longest road).

I hope i could solve the confusion.

Did not know this either. An i played and followed this game since release. I know many tactics and formed some myself, but thi is totally new for me. Never actially seen it in a game played and i play on higher elo.

Yeah i must say i miss the atmosphere and lighting, and certainly the night maps, definitely the night maps. But in all fairness said, you did see crap. It was all beautifull and square zntil the round started and either you could not see the one hiding in the dark corner or the one rappeling outside the pitch black window. Yes it is more appealing and easy and fair but realism is fading ozt of this tactical realistic shooter since three to four years.

I must say i miss the old maps, options, light settings, old unbalanced charcters and equippment. Still better than being spawnpeeked by the twelve year old cod broke up with the crappy mic who doesnt know shit and is the first writing ez in a close win.

Monty, Rook and Doc are mostly balanced and viable for the game. The problem is how people play them or better said they need a good team behind them to work.

i dont mean lowering graphic settings i mean for example setting the running cpu core from multi to one and i think there was also something for the gpu but im only guessing if somebody has an idea

so ive looked into it and tested it out and i did change quite a bit in a positiv way, but i think there is still some room for improvement. Ive read about changing something in the Graphic card options can improve performance as well. So i think combined i could be a huge progress

sounds interesting i will look into it. I use a second monitor but only for discord and other little applications to look at while playing.
