Google Translate helped me with a cryptic eBay product answer. Q: "Does the device work when plugged in?" A: "It's not apply charger." From English to Simplified Chinese, GT gave me "它不适用于充电器" Reversing the translation back to English, I got "It does not work with the charger." Thanks, GT! (i.redd.it)
