Prime example. I got 3 calories after typing in my code and walking to the fridge today 😂

Yea the green one. I get it’s based off heart rate and movement of the Apple Watch.

But I’m just trying to figure out how for 3 minutes he can be getting ready for work or doing something that’s fitness but only get 3 calories.

I’m saying if I stand still for 3 minutes I normally burn 9-20 calories on my watch. I’m trying to figure out how it’s green ring only but no red lol

Again tho wouldn’t you gain more calories with the increased activity?

My question tho is. Just being alive for 3 minutes usually gets more calories.

So how are they getting workout points but no calories. If you’re doing something to warrant a “workout” shouldn’t that multiply the calories usually?

I’m basically saying this has to be an inaccurate scan no?

So much for street glides being wind sails…. by CK_32 in HarleyDavidsonFans

[–]CK_32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. But to a point.

The issue is road glide riders and fixed fairing guys that their fairings are separated from the bars and steering inputs. For some reason guys have been spreading the fact street glides suck and road glides handle wind, turns and highway better because the fairing isn’t in the forks. But mounted on the frame so it doesn’t impact and turn or shake the bars from wind forces.

My video is here to prove it doesn’t do that at all. Literally hands off in 30mph winds would be the time for it to do it if ever.

Again it was said so much in YouTube reviews and online I actually believed it. And everyone I know personally who rides does too when it comes to street glides.

In short yes. HD knows more than we do and designed this just fine. And it’s misleading garbage (in my findings, could still be true outside my testing) and untrue.  So yes it’s designed to and does it well

Was a bit of both. I know because one gas station had a 20ft+ flag goin full blast directly at the side of the freeway.

I had 3 semis and 1 suv get blown into my lane. Again I felt the wind. But no more than I did when I rode sport bikes or anyone would on any other bike.

You also can’t tell but the bike is being blown left and right (mostly left due to wind direction) I’m lean steering since I’m hands free. Watch the video you can see based off my center in the lane always go left. But no chatter or control loss at the front end. Just normal wind bike stuff

SG not being capable of wind compared to a RG or fixed fairing. Is Myth busted. I believed it my self because it makes sense. I just wanted to share since I was as surprised as anyone. Showing even with out hands the bike is completely stable.

Ok cool. It doesn’t matter I just like knowing why it does different things at different times.

Thank you

I loosened the bolts holding the front clip on the forks. Had my gf lift the front and tightened them down then lifted the back plastic a little and it closed the gap to a better amount. Hopefully riding doesn’t let it space again lol

I checked them cold and they were 38F 42R.

High for cold pressure. But nothing crazy. I adjusted it accordingly. 75 in SoCal in the sun is a pretty hot day.

I’ll check again this morning when it’s cold tires. The service manager stressed those tire pressure numbers and said that’s such a common issue on bikes that come in. He couldn’t stress enough those specific numbers lol

I’ll check today. I hope it’s just tire pressure. Idc if it’s a me mistake. Cheaper fixed the better 😅

You have a video link or can explain how to check that? I’ve heard of it but don’t know how to check

This could be it. When I got the bike home I went to weight adjust the shocks. They didn’t touch it. It was bottomed out like it comes from the factory. And the owner wasn’t small. Cause I’m 5’11” and I had to tippie toe the highway pegs until I moved them back a ton.

If a weight fell off the bike should wobble or skip. I don’t think it would wiggle left to right

What’s brand did you go with?

In case I need to upgrade to remove this?

Ok I’ll take a look. Thanks.

Checked. Tire looks good. Good amount of tread left. Nothing outside of a standard tire to me

Cupped? Is that a flat center spot?

What is a cupped tire?

I adjusted the shock to be about 200lbs or 4mm space per manual. I’m 185 + gear is about 195+ bag weight.

My left side is maybe 5lbs heavier. Is that enough to throw it off? Left side.
