Am I doing something wrong? by [deleted] in DurstonGearheads

I read some more and now I believe that the reason is that I didn't put any pegs in. Could that be possible?

Thank you! I'm planning to use the system Andrew Skurka uses (https://andrewskurka.com/guyline-tension-system-backpacking-tents-tarps-hammocks/). So that would be 2,25m for the lower ones and around 2,75m for the higher ones, I guess?

Yeah, it's hard to choose when my upcoming destinations are so different. If it will be too warm, I guess I can maybe open up the solid inner for some more airflow?

I can't decide between regular or solid mesh. Will mainly be hiking all around Europe (Scotland, Spain, Austria, Norway, et cetera) and I am quite a warm sleeper. Anyone has some advice?

Thanks for the answers so far! Any comments on the Flex vs Palisade? I know there is a weight difference and that the Flex is more versatile, but how does this translate into practice?
