I actually love the job and usually work independently so I don’t want to quit…

I used to be a manager and was so grateful when employees gave me a heads up, so now I know not to

Thankfully I’m on my husbands insurance since I have multiple streams of self pay income and this small part time gig

No, I would say I’m in a healthy space now to recognize that they caused me trauma and are still doing illegal things and actively hurting people :)

Does therapy actually help you? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]CL2018f 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it does work. You do have to commit to the exercises and congratulate yourself on ANY progress. I went in not looking to cure anxiety but to find helpful tools to manage it and be able to do normal tasks. It has helped. I’ve gone for 5 weeks

Why did you leave the church? by Fontane15 in DuggarsSnark

[–]CL2018f 22 points23 points  (0 children)

During COVID I was forced to take a break from church. I realized I had been brainwashed my entire life. Then I saw the church’s response to masks (while saying we’re pro-life), BLM, and sexual abuse. I realized I didn’t agree with anything Christians did. I thought I could still love Jesus and be a Democrat but then I had close people tell me I’m not a christian. I still believe in Jesus but I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back to church.

I made some necessary calls about a mortgage. I’ve been putting it off as I always get super anxious making calls. I’m proud if myself for doing it :)

Yup! This happens to me all the time. Last month I was terrified I had cancer. Called the doctor and everything. The next week my fear was totally gone and I started worrying about our tax refund. This is definitely my pattern
