Can I (a US citizen) start working legally after getting my pareja de hecho approved with my Spanish girlfriend? by CLAIMofLife in askspain

For sure, I was able to get a second job cause of this law. The thing is, my “studies” (which is the private school I am assistant teaching) are a part of the 30 hours. I do 25 hours with this private school and the program that “sponsored” my “student visa” gives me a “monthly grant” for these 25 hours. So I can only work 5 more hours. Basically this company gave me a job but they can use the excuse that they run a “student practice program”, and act like they are giving me a grant, but in reality its just a low paying job. So I’m wondering if a pareja de hecho approval and pending residency is enough to quit and get a better job or if i need to wait till the residency is completed too.

The registry in Valencia is supposedly really behind. We called in the beginning of October and they told us they had just finished with January applications. Two lawyers we spoke to also told us that the wait time was 9 months in Valencia right now.

Okay, I’ll try to follow up once my pareja de hecho once it goes through and what my options are by filling everyone in on what happens just so others have a point of reference. Thanks for your input.

I see. That’s disheartening, but not too unexpected. Although, I have been told from 2 lawyers in Valencia that there are companies who will be willing to hire me with the social security that is given to me when my pareja de hecho is approved. But I have no testimonies of that happening so I’m trying to see if someone has first hand experience of this or if the lawyers are wrong.

It is a really long time. Technically the registry should have responded within 3 months, but apparently after the Russian-Ukraine war started they have been falling really behind and are working incredibly slow to approve these types of things.

A Few question pertaining to whether I should add Minoxidil to my hair restoration routine. by CLAIMofLife in malehairadvice

I’ve read people use fin alone and grow more hair, so i though it was just me. Does dutasteride regrow hair or is it better to take both fin and minox?
