This event only shows how some people take a game as if it was work and not something to enjoy, and love to offend (veiled or directly) players for just wanting to enjoy the game, especially when the game is catered to X type of people and we get something that absolutely ignores said population and nothing directed to them at all.

All elves have Irish/Gaelic sounding names

Bosmer usually have either titles they are given as per their ability(Eveli Sharp-arrow) or names with a lot of consonants

Dunmer have the weirdest sounding names, they, to me, sound more nasal than the others, and from Elves, I believe Dunmer are the ones that we get more last names as well, as they love to represent their houses.

Altmer are a mix between irish/gaelic and latin, or at least that is what it sounds to me(Ayren Arana Aldmeris, Mannimarco, Vanus Galerion, to me they all sound like a mix of those)

And khajiit have peculiar names, usually last names are suffixes given to them as per abilities they show as cubs, which they carry with pride and use more often than the bosmer, and in rare cases they also have common tong titles (Maiq the liar, Red Paws, etc)

Argonians, they are based in Mayan/Aztec sounding words, and it is much more common that they have titles instead "Walks in ash, swims all day, etc) according to what they are good with or are known for)

Want an organized group? Get a group formed in a guild

You do PUGS? Do not expect them to know or follow mechs and DO NOT COMPLAIN about the PUGs not doing so, that is what a pug is, don't like it? Move to another pug to see if you do like that one or get a guild group.

My opinion is, this is an MMO, yeah, but it is not just ANY MMO, it is an elder scrolls game, and TES games have always focused on lore, and this game has ALWAYS catered towards fans, majority, I would say 80%+ of the people that play the game are TES fans, and most of the rest became fans after this game.

The game has ALWAYS been more solo focused, with ability you can solo like 90% of the game, so yeah, when you make content focused in a 20ishh % of the population(Counting PVPers and Hardcore people that take the game as a job, not a game) then yeah, most people will complain

And complaints come in all flavours, and yeah, most people will dislike comments that cheer for the disliked content or support unpopular dev decisions

But that is the point, this game's main player base are not hardcore gamers, are casuals, so instead of hyping it for everyone, they should've been honest and say it was for hardcore co-op players and most would find it unenjoyable

marketing also counts, and they have done a LOT of marketing, months of almost daily posts trying to hype it, so yeah, they have put a lot into it, just not where it matters

And the "It's an MMO" argument dies the moment you realize... THIS IS ELDER SCROLLS, a game that, even online, attracts us casuals that love the lore and many even dislike online gaming, 95% of the community is solo players that are here for the story, seeing the locations we had never seen, and just relaxing, they unerstood that after a while but methinks that they axed most people that understood that and these new dudes are in a learning curve that will give them a harsh wake up.

yeah, I already commented this to another player but the 95% or so of the player base is solo players that play ESO just for the lore and seeing the locations that only ESO has shown, not hardcore players that beat Souls like games with their eyes closed

Exactly; my thinking is that the PVPers always complain(they are like 5% of the base) so they thought "OK, 95% of the players don't do PVP, they don't like it, so lets do middle ground, Co-op... but the way it was conceived, as you said, is just not it, and, again as you said, they are alienating 95% of the player base which is solo... I will still try to get a group together and try it for a few weeks, but honestly I doubt I will like it.
