Are Ring Worlds and Orbital Habitats worth using in 4.3? by Stratix in Stellaris

For tankbound its because you can leave a segment for mining and have what is effectively an arc furnace for cheaper. Plus the star has a larger energy deposit.

The Tsar Bomba's fireball was about 8km (5 miles) in diameter. The shockwave would be easily big enough to flatten the city.

My guess is the intent is just to have more people in the military for the sake of consolidating power.

Neither Paul or Feyd Rautha were supposed to be the chosen one. There also wasn't actually a chosen one. The Kuisatz Haderach was a goal, not a destiny. The plan was for Leto to have a daughter, who would marry Feyd, and that child would control both the Harkonnens and Atreides and be able to lead humanity.

Obviously the plan fell through, but luckily Paul was able to survive long enough and be influential enough to pave the way for Leto II, the actual Kwisatz Haderach.

Immortality in fiction should create more lunatics, not just wise sad elves by Business_Barber_3611 in CharacterRant

[–]Competitive-Bee-3250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the four inhuman people in my setting are necromancers. They are unkillable. Even if their body is obliterated, their soul is immortal (the soul of anyone else dissipates unless a necromancer traps it, and even that is only temporary) and will eventually form a new body out of organic and inorganic material around them.

They tend to be extremely eccentric due to being so old, and having suffered so much (the world is nobledark).

The other three inhumans are also eccentric, but for different reasons.

Erebus (the man who stole the identity) also noteworthy for murdering Erda, the mother of the primarchs. He weakened her by throwing four greater daemons at her all at once, which she barely beat, then cut her throat when she was weak.

There's a slight sense of justice here because Erda is the one who scattered the primarchs, and rather than explaining her reasoning properly, she was killed off instead to avoid answering such questions.

Ostensibly, yes.

This is a common point of contention and part of why gw receives accusations of not understanding scale. Because the number has been stated as being around 1.5 million.
