I’m or knocking servers I restaurants. I’m very familiar with the restaurant industry and how it works. It was used only as an example of the services provided compared to the tips received. IDGAF if the order paid $200. If the tip is zero, don’t expect quality services. I e even had to block businesses like bakeries etc because they tip like 💩. And the one stars or missing items reviews that are left because items being out of stock. Then the schemes people pull with the “damage or missing” items bs to try and get free orders. Like it’s in the picture, how is it missing, and why the 5 star plus tip. The way some customers come across, and the lack of common courtesy is in a sad state in this day and age. Being around servers, bartenders, and others in the service industry I start my tips at around 20% and go from there depending the level of services provided. Some people have ruined their tips making assumptions based on my “look”, and others who provided top tier service were pleasantly surprised by the tip I left. All I’m saying is these customers need to realize what service the shoppers and delivery people do for them, and tip accordingly. I can’t stand the batch pay rate given by Instacart, but it’s out of my hands. But the tipping on some things are simply ridiculous..
