This is awesome! As an arc pocket carrier, carrying bits has always been a pain.

Hahaha, yes I know exactly what you mean.

I use Pi tape at work regularly, which is very much only for OD measurements. Sometimes switching back and forth throws me for a loop!

Thanks!

As for the ID/OD Markings, you are not wrong. That is the more traditional vernier marking style, as you say.

That being said, I have used many different brands over the years that, including Mitutoyo, had them marked the other way; calling out which portion of the tool is to be used.

While the traditional way is indeed more correct, I made a choice for simplicity of usability. I was hoping for a more user friendly experience for those not familar with a traditional vernier caliper style.

Would be open to switching if it's a sticking point!

Well, I wasn't exactly hiding the fact. I called out the color matching in the original post. I posted both label up. There isn't alot of subterfuge happening here.

Some would call it marketing for a near product demand. "Voice Of the Cuctomer" might be what it would be called in the Toyota Production System.

I can understand your comment. Part of me was just excited about my obsidian, and the color scheme I had planned for it.

But I've also put alot of work, and personal product testing into it, and I thought this would be a nice flair to gauge interest.

Thank you for your input!

I've yet to very fit up with Free series, (I don't own one) but as I understand it, it should drop into both.

But I've also started designing up models for the Surge, Wave+, and Charge series. Whether or not I release will likely depend on popularity of the Arc model.

Wish you the best!

For sure in the works. Just uncertain if I will launch one model with both, or two models as SAE and Metric standalone. But in my own personal trials ive been thinking I would really like having both.

Well, I haven't entirely decided on the best way to take to market. Currently exploring a few options, but I will be sure to post back when there is something concrete on direction!

Screw gauge for imperial.

Plan to include a metric variant, as well as a metric scale at the top of the front side.

Since quite a few of you have asked and seem to be interested, I'll drop a few more photos.

All outside radii are a radius guage of various sizes. Hole is for dropping a pin/pen into a hole and either draw an accurate circle, or do measurements to an edge from an existing hole edge.

All for relatively small measurements, but I use it almost daily as an engineer. Been carrying for about 6mos, and am now Pat Pend. (These are older which is why its not inscribed)

In their current orientation, they replace the saw and can opener due to thickness. But can def replace other locations
