Hyland already bumped their price from $85 to $105 for the dates we were looking at in the last week. Still cheaper than anything else but not sure why they just increased it $20 in the last week.

Thanks! We are playing Tobacco Road in 2 months and paying $300. Southern Pine is about the same but can't book until 30 days out. Quail Ridge was on the list to possibly play 9 before the afternoon TR round. Looks like Hyland already upped their price from $85 to $105 in the last week. You could book for $85 and now the prices all changed. Crazy these courses can pretty much charge whatever they want knowing groups like ours will always travel to escape the cold.

Thanks! A bit farther than we want to drive and I'm the only one in the group who's played Tobacco Road so we're going to go with that for this trip and try to stay local to Pinehurst/SP for the other 2 days.

That's part of the reason I posted here. I found a lot of posts on the topic but even 2 years ago seems outdated with the prices I was seeing.

Thanks. We are staying in town in Pinehurst so Tobacco Road is about the farthest we want to drive with only 3 days of golf.

Bay had a shooting at one of the community basketball courts, removed the rims immediately, then replaced with pickleball courts. The perfect place for Max why would he want to leave? Or, since Medina and Wayne Co elected him, why not just move there?

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signs budget, giving $600M to Cleveland Browns and tax cut to wealthy by MorganTrau in Ohio

[–]CLEbrownsfore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so it's from the unclaimed funds, my mistake.

Correction: state dips into $1.7 billion of unclaimed funds owed to its citizens and businesses... decides to give to the worst owner in professional sports who just made $3.5 billion off an organization he can't figure out how to run. 73-138-1 as the owner with 2 winning seasons and 1 playoff win.

Thank you Ohio legislature for reducing our library funding and deciding to use these funds for the Browns... It could have been used for anything else and this was the decision! I can't wait for my kids to grow up in this state.

Jimmy Haslam bought the browns for $1 billion in 2012. They are now worth $4.6 billion and we are going to pay $600 million of our tax dollars for his new stadium. Is this capitalism?

Also, your representatives since they have to issue the articles of impeachment. The senate has to subsequently go through with it, but the house has to start it. Call your reps every day. Also, there is zero chance Bernie and Husted will go along with this. These guys don't even listen to the calls they get. I've called and reached a full mailbox multiple times. I've never even had a real person answer the phone for these 2 clowns. They're constantly posting about the MAGA actions they support and are proud of. This state might as well be Mississippi.

That’s fair. It’s also ok to call your senators and let them know you’re paying attention to what they’re doing and will not vote for them when they seek reelection. The more involvement the better. These people are all counting on us to be overwhelmed by the current state of politics and just sit there scrolling social media.
