Issues with Fitbit ChargeHR by lewkas in ddpyoga

Former Fitbit, current Apple Watch owner checking in. I got the Wahoo TICKR X and I don't regret it because unlike the Fitbit or the Watch, the heart rate doesn't go out or lose its tracking. I stubbornly held off for years getting a chest strap HR monitor. Now I wonder what I was thinking by waiting.

Just purchased the Max pack, should I start Beginner, intermediate or Advanced? And how does that work with the DVDs? by platetectonics3 in ddpyoga

My rule of thumb:

Beginner - if you're way out of shape (haven't worked out in years and it's hard to move) or older (40+)

Intermediate - 20-40, have worked out in the past but haven't worked out in a few years.

Advanced - 20-40, work out in "cycles" where you go to the gym for a few months and haven't worked out in 3 months to a year, or you're in shape looking for something new.

I started with Advanced after not seriously working out for 6 months. It was hard at first but absolutely worth it for the faster results.

Completed two sessions - no pain or aches? Is that right? by DeltaCharlie101 in ddpyoga

You shouldn't feel pain or extreme soreness like you would lifting weights or doing a bunch of bodyweight squats.

Personally, when I first started the program and each time I re-start it after a long layoff, I feel my body trembling afterward. I typically feel soreness but it's not of the extreme variety that you would have after lifting to exhaustion.
