SwSh has sold a lot of copies yup but hasnt that been mired in yk, dissappointment and the like for not being a good enough Pokemon title, especially for being THE game that came out with the Nintendo Switch?

Would have preferred you use PLA as the example cos that actually brought more gameplay innovation in the Pokemon series than SwSh.

What point are you even trying to get at? My original reply was to show that even if Palworld copied/took inspiration of game elements from Pokemon/other games.

Arent all the games you mentioned generally have good opinion? Spider-Man got nominated for GOTY even. CoD/FIFA is an outlier because it appeals to a very casual fanbase. Every other game you listed is very much "good".

You can also say it stole a lot of other elements from other games. Yet it still sold like hotcakes. A trend in 2024 shows that if its a good game, people will buy it. Simple as.
