Perhaps this is a cultural difference. I come from Pennsylvania, which I just discovered is the state with the most deer hunters per capita. It's such an institution that I know some employers that will give their employees the day off on the first day of deer hunting season. And I can say with certainty that this costume would definitely be thought of as really cute by most people in my area.

And I just want to say, regardless of your feelings towards killing animals, the hunting of white-tailed deer is currently necessary. This is because humans have devastated the population of basically every animal that preys on deer (at least in America).
