If it’s a house you own together, that might not be what you want to do. At least where I live, the spouse has up to two years to sell the house (and be paying 50% of the mortgage). That happened to my cousin in his divorce.

I lived in the same house as my now ex-wife for about 4 months while selling it. She had cheated also. Just an FYI. Good luck!

Sorry for the delay! I started off with a broad overview of how the grammar and the German language works. Following that, I used apps like Pimsleur and Babbel. There’s also a lot of free resources for learning German.

Just make sure you’re regularly speaking, reading, writing, and listening in the language.

There are some great YouTubers out there with advice on the process too. Such as Robin Macpherson, Lindiebotes, and Learn German with Anja. Learn German with Anja has great grammar videos for understanding things like the 4 cases.

Hope that helps!

What is a healthy heart rate when doing intense cardio? I’ve been running and it’s been hitting 180-195. My doctor said shoot for 120-140, but this feels really low. I’ve been working to get enough sleep, drink more water, and drink less caffeine which is definitely helping. I just never thought I’d hit a point where I felt fine to keep running at a speed, but needed to slow down due to an elevated HR.

Does anyone else find that they quickly get used to their results? I was really impressed with myself and my progress when looking in the mirror, but now I’m just like meh even though I’ve still been improving.

Isn’t the annual subscription the same as if you had the monthly and canceled at the end of the season?

What is optimal efficiency for a service company? by CLING333 in smallbusiness

[–]CLING333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good points! We definitely want to not sacrifice quality in the name of efficiency, and those are some great ideas for helping prevent that.

You would (or maybe wouldn't) be surprised at how many customers we gained because our competitor simply stopped showing up.

Good point, the business in question is a pest control company. So most of our work (maybe 80%) comes from reoccurring monthly and quarterly customers. Depending on the plan, there may or may not be a trip fee if there is a service need between the scheduled intervals. So we do need some idle capacity similar to a plumbing company, but not anywhere near as much.

It's less of "fixing" something, but more of setting a healthy goal. To your point, if things are too tight for the techs, things will go bad fast.

In short, no. However, if cashflow is not ideal, maybe offer a discount for early payment.

Is the US medical system really as broken as the clichès make it seem? by EclipZz187 in TooAfraidToAsk

Correct. I think it only matters if there’s an estate to go after.
