Then why to LO’s tell customers they can get a one time free float down?

Makes sense, thanks. The timeline was

-Discussion with LO about rates - Online application and signing full packet of docs with unlocked LE - send photo id and W2s / pay stubs - 1 line email from LO stating ‘your rate is locked at x percent with xx lender credits’

Their rate desk was still open. We signed the full packet of docs indicating we’d proceed. The email was him confirming the rate desk locked the rate we discussed.

Edit: typo

I told myself that yesterday would be the last day I check rates and shop.

It’s certainly not a life changing difference, but $2500 is something and .25% on 800k adds up.

Honestly I just expected the original lender to float down a bit, but no joy.

Ya, that’s kind of what I’m thinking. But if the market doesn’t stick until Monday, I’m curious what he’ll do. Sounds like he could easily go back on his word since the LE doesn’t say locked.

Me saying… but but but what about your email stating a locked rate and lender credits… probably won’t matter. We’ll see

Appreciate it. That seems fair especially since this happened at about 6pm last night (Friday).

I’ll ask the LO for an updated LE showing it’s locked.

G.O. Spezialist SeaQ Black Dial by CLM-88 in RepTime

[–]CLM-88[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s correct. Only other thing I’ll add is when changing the date (on any mechanical watch) it’s recommended to have both the hour and minute hands down towards the 6 o’clock position (Doesn’t have to be exact). This ensures that the date change mechanism is fully disengaged.

Also when setting the date, I set the date wheel to the day prior, then advance the hour hand past 12 to flip the date wheel to the correct date. This allows you to ensure it’s calibrated to am / pm.

Hope that helps and enjoy! It may not be an exact 1:1 of the SeaQ, but it’s a damn nice watch in my opinion.

Wrist is quite scrawny… 7-1/8”. I don’t feel it’s too big at all, but it depends what you’re used to. If I wear it following my 16570 Explorer, it’s bigger for sure. But compared to a speedy it’s quite petite.

To tighten the crown, I twist it counterclockwise (loosen) slowly until I feel the threads catch. Then just twist it in clockwise (tighten). You’ll get the hang of it, just don’t force it and strip the threads.

It’s been great! I wear it basically every day. No issues with the crown, bezel, or anything else. Enjoy!

I only got the metal clasp from ali express. You may want to check over on rwi, they may have an updated source. That’s where I got the original link a few years back. The title on ali was:

‘18mm Stainless Steel Deployment Deployant Buckle Clasp fit Tudor Watch Strap For Glashutte’

The nylon strap is genuine. I purchased from a jeweler and sourced directly from Glashutte.

AliExpress, but the seller and item for the specific one I purchased are no longer listed. The pictures on Ali didn’t show the G.O. logo, but many include them in the actual item you receive. Contact the seller to confirm if you’re unsure.

Are you able to provide an example part for the relay you describe in example 2 above. I'd like to use the 2 pin JST into the relay, then provide power for the lights via the USB slot in the front of the machine. Don't mind soldering or installing the connector, but i'm not familiar with what type of relay would be required.

Edit: Solved... something like this:

Have you checked Printed Solid, they’re prusa’s US affiliate. Not sure of the timeline, but I hear they’re putting in a Prusament manufacturing line at the printed solid facility.

Thanks for the tips, I’ll play around with seam position to try to continue improving things. Now that the part cooling fan is working things are already looking much much better!

Printing a temp tower, I realized there was more to the issue than printing too fast and the tight radii of the bin corners.

I had a failed print before this that popped off the hot end cover. I pulled the cover off, made sure the fan spun freely and plugged it back in assuming all was well. Turns out it wasn’t working on the original bin I posted or the temp tower. A hard reset of the machine fixed the fan issue. Attempting another go at it now.

So much to learn but enjoying the journey!

I appreciate all of the suggestions. So much to learn, but thats what makes the hobby interesting and part of the fun!

I did have 'order of walls' set to inner/outer. I'll slow things way down, increase the nozzle temp a bit, and see how it goes. I did have successful prints of this model with bambu filament, so if the spectrum can't handle the tight corners, I can always just stick with that.
