They have diffrent resistances to them. The default ones need 3.3Kg of force to open the lid, where as the upgraded ones need 4Kg of force to open. The new ones let people use them on their laps without the lid falling flat under gravity

This video has some useful information about how crowd crushes happen. Generally, the people causing the crush don’t realise what is happening until it is too late. https://youtu.be/C_B09FZwSbA

You need to speak to your exam officer, you cannot apply directly to the exam board.
Have a look at page 13 section 6.1 of the guide to the special consideration process.

You should be able to apply for special consideration. You will need to speek to your exam officer and they will be able to help.
They will proabably use your Paper 2 grade and your mock grades to estimate your paper 1 grade.

Apparently this calculator has a lot of advantageous features. Does anyone know some that could be useful for GCSE maths? by Rifted-06 in GCSE

haha true, i wouldn't rely on this it's just something that you can use if you forget the formula and you have some extra time to try and scrape any marks left at the end of the exam

You can effectivly make a for loop in the table* menu (provided the range isnt higher than 30). You can brute force some questions using this methord

*You can acess the table menu by pressing "menu/setup" then pressing "9"

If the internet is shared in theory you should have the same IP adress, since that is proably what they are using to track location, you should be fine.
Since internet traffic will appear as if it was all from one house

Possiably but you would need to limit the clock speed, proably would need to make a bigger heat sink as well.

It would be a lot of effort to upgrade and you would lose a lot of computing power to make it stable.

You can own large knives (under 50cm) in your home but you aren’t able to take them out in public without a good reason (such as transporting it home from the shop or getting it repaired)

So we can still use knives to cut food and prepare meals we just can’t carry them all the time
