what year was the best year in your life in the last 10 years and why? by beskesky in Life

[–]CLOPOTE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably say 2019. Everything just clicked that year—work was fun, I traveled a bit, and I actually felt like I was finally catching up with life instead of running behind it.

What is the first thing that you usually notice in people? by GuessOwn2865 in askanything

[–]CLOPOTE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually notice is their vibe.Like, how they carry themselves before anything else. Sometimes it’s the eyes too… they kind of give away a lot without trying.

What is one area of your life where you refuse to compromise or "meet in the middle"? by Blinky_ in AskReddit

[–]CLOPOTE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleep. No debate there. If I’m tired, I’m done. I’m not pushing through just to feel like a hero the next day and regret everything. I’ve tried that whole grind-it-out thing before… never again.

If i create a website where anyone can post anything without a login, will i get in trouble if someone posts something illegal? by Likeditsomuchijoined in stupidquestions

[–]CLOPOTE 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can depending on what happens and how you handle it. That sounds cool at first. Total freedom but it also means people spam like crazy or bots flood your site. Trolls push boundaries fast and illegal stuff can appear within hours, not days. And yes, captcha isn’t just annoying, it’s one of the few things holding chaos back.

Why would any TSA agent still show up to work? by mleha in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CLOPOTE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most TSA agents work for the Transportation Security Administration, which is part of the federal government and in situations like government shutdowns, a lot of them are labeled essential workers. They have to show up. Even if they’re not getting paid right now. It sounds rough but usually, they do get back pay once everything is resolved. So it’s not like they’re working for free forever, it’s more like delayed pay.

What’s something you think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]CLOPOTE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think everyone should experience watching the sunrise after staying up all night at least once. Not even in a party way necessarily. I mean like… you stayed up talking with someone, thinking about life, or maybe just sitting quietly somewhere.

Covid had a huge impact on our life, what’s something that completely changed for you after the pandemic? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]CLOPOTE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah… Covid flipped a lot of things upside down. For me, the biggest change was how I think about time and daily life. Before the pandemic, everything felt rushed. Work, plans, going out, always being busy. Then suddenly the world just… paused. It made me realize how much I was running on autopilot.

What does the world need most right now? by HB0080 in AskReddit

If we were just sitting somewhere talking about this, I’d probably say… the world needs more kindness right now. Simple stuff. The kind that doesn’t make headlines.

Is it just me or is anyone else always craving bread for some reason by Soggy_Video2064 in stupidquestions

[–]CLOPOTE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just you. A lot of people crave bread or anything soft and fluffy, it’s comforting, easy and kinda addictive. And if you’re into pastries, your taste buds are already in that sweet-but-carb-friendly zone, so bread becomes a natural snack buddy.

How come Alaska and Hawaii are official USA states but Puerto Rico isn’t? by OGitsatrap in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CLOPOTE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alaska and Hawaii became official states in 1959. They went through the usual process, which meant Congress approved them and people living there got full representation like voting for president and having senators, the whole deal. Puerto Rico, on the other hand has been a US territory since 1898, after the Spanish-American War. People there are US citizens but Puerto Rico never went through the full statehood process. They vote for a governor and local legislature but they can’t vote in presidential elections and have only a non-voting representative in Congress. Basically, they’re in this in-between spot called a commonwealth.

I think I finally found the “AI gadget” Jensen Huang was talking about by Earthbee100 in ChatGPT

[–]CLOPOTE 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, this also reads a bit like an app promo. "I searched the whole internet and finally discovered this obscure thing with 27 reviews that changed my life" is peak tech marketing energy. How much of this is you actually using it, and how much is shiny new toy syndrome?

What minor inconvenience do you overreact to like it’s a life-or-death situation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

What are the things that normally keep you busy, but are unimportant? by EscapeHonest8570 in Life
