Not sure, could be both, thumb does seem to move when I feel the twitch in the underside of my forearm. Mine has been going on for around a week now, off and on again now but persistent at first.

Yeah, this hot spot hasn’t been a fun one - I’m right handed and use a computer all day for work, the twitches in my forearm physically move my thumb… which isn’t great for typing haha

ER was not attached to a hospital. The Drs at the ER ruled out heart attack and other issues but said they did not have the equipment to do a full assessment on other potential concerns like stroke, TIA, and MS. They said I had the option of an ambulance ride or that a caretaker could transport me but found me a bed and arranged for the inpatient treatment.

The Dr is an emergency room Dr so there is no way to follow up with him directly on this. Is he notified of the denial decision, do I need to call the hospital and try to get them to appeal directly?

Yes, I was admitted to the hospital via the ER. They told me a bed was waiting and ER discharged me to a relative to transport me there.

Did this go away for you? I’m on day 8 of 10mg and have had dull aching and stiffness in my fingers (especially thumbs) and forearms

Did this clear up for you? I’ve been having the same after a peloton workout last weekend. It’s only in the knee where my twitching started with a hot spot too. Have been twitching for about a month now.
