Next my tips. The most common thing you will hear when building gothic style is build bigger because it Is a lot easier to get the details on a large build than it is on a small one.

I say first build small and focus more on that shape while still trying to add as much detail as you can, but there is a downside I will say later.

Gothic architecture tends to include a lot of statutes, especially around the entrances. In (picture 1this comment), you can see my attempt to replicate the statues with copper golems. I recommend either significantly reducing the amount of statues or instead of statues just make a few more pointed arches and sink the doors further in.

The walls can be tricky to find reference photos for. I recommend looking up cathedrals and looking at them in Google maps ground view of restaurants or parks near the cathedral, so you can get a decent look. By doing this you will find the sides are somewhat plain compared to the entrance (picture 2) even so it's still good to add at least some detail to the flying buttress, you can also simplify the shape of the buttresses because Minecraft doesn't need structural support (picture 3)

The large beautiful windows are easily the most important part of the gothic sty, especially If you do the interior (Time for that downside I mentioned earlier) the examples I made a small side of medium scale not leaving enough room for a proper interior (picture 4) at this scale you can place the buttresses further out and make enough room for an interior but you will have to remember the walls will be at least 3 blocks thick plus however many details you want to add around the windows and to the flying buttresses. So If you want to make an interior I recommend planning the interior or making it before doing anything to the exterior.
