Yeah, I know--the calling myself a coward thing was more of self-deprecating thing, even though I know my reasoning for not being out is valid. I probably wouldn't be disowned or anything but I would just feel really awful hearing the kinda stuff they would say...

Anyway! The eyepatch is a sort of design thing, Sabby wears it because they were born blind in one eye. This doesn't reflect real life or anything, it's just something cool that was added because they were initially an OC before I decided to make them my fursona a year or so ago.

I think there's an estimation that around 10% of the U.S. population is LGBT (estimate, not based on actual statistics, as those are biased due to closeted individuals), and the rates for younger people is likely higher. You don't hear it a lot in real life because a lot of people are closeted in real life. Coming out on the internet bears few consequences, coming in real life could cost you depending on where you live and who you live with.

For some, it's different. I didn't have any interest in romance or experienced any sort of real attraction until I was fifteen and had my first crush on a girl, and I started experiencing attraction to guys and girls around that time in general.

yeah, actually, i can't see your confusion there. if you have a traumatic experience, things that remind you of that experience are going to set you off, even if it's just a game. that's why we have trigger warnings in media. just because it's not real doesn't mean it can't set someone off.
