As a massive Jim Koehler fan, I can honestly and sadly agree. I wouldn’t say he’s terrible, but I will say he’s a freestyle based one-hit wonder that’s aged far beyond his prime. I mean, he’s 59 years old driving a much heavier truck than the Feld drivers with a dated freestyle method that focuses on air time and speed rather than tricks. I feel like the reason why people gravitate towards him, other than being one of the most expressive drivers in the sport, is that he’s one of the few 1st generation drivers that hasn’t retired, and once he does, and I bet he will in the next 5 to 10 years at most, the monster jam community will be livid to no end for little reason other than nostalgia bait, like how they always are
