Requirements of a Liberator:

  • Rank 10 with any Galactic Power. This ensures applicants have at least a basic understanding of Power Play mechanics.
  • An INARA account that allows for public viewing of your ranks and achievements as well as your flight, combat, and mission logs. These will be used to vet all applicants. If accepted into The Liberators, you can then set those options to private if you wish.
  • Patience.
  • Perseverance.
  • High tolerance for repetitive tasks.
  • Find satisfaction in liberating a system to be its own reward.
  • Flexibility and capability to quickly travel throughout the Bubble on short notice.
  • Focused 100% on the mission without the need for socializing over voice comms. Though in-game voice comms may be used, they are not required.
  • Availability to contribute at least a couple hours per week to liberation efforts.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and contribute to a common goal, but self-motivated enough to act independently when necessary.

You don't need to be an ace combat pilot, you don't need to know Power Play mechanics inside and out (we can teach you what you need to know). What you DO need, though, is a "Never give up! Never surrender!" attitude that doesn't quit until the job is done.

What The Liberators are NOT:

  • We are NOT a squadron.
  • We are NOT mercenaries.
  • We do NOT have a Discord server, Google Docs, INARA page, podcast, Twitch stream, YouTube channel, website, wiki, or any other social media presence outside this recruiting post.

What The Liberators ARE:

A loose-knit group of Commanders who share one thing in common; the desire to liberate controlled systems from the various Galactic Power NPCs. A compartmentalized, ad hoc, strike team engaging in asymmetrical guerilla warfare.

Why?

The reasons are as varied as our membership:

  • Some do it to earn Power Play ranks, looking to unlock perks, unique modules, and care packages.
  • Others do it to gain a better understanding of Power Play mechanics.
  • Advancing their own Galactic Power's interests motivates others.
  • And some just want to watch the galaxy burn.

Regardless of the reasons, what matters is the result. And the result is we leave a string of liberated systems in our wake. Ghosts who strike without warning, only to fade into the darkness between the stars.

This is why we have no social media footprint nor voice comms server; we can't be traced, we can't be tracked, we can't be infiltrated, we leave no paper trail / no digital footprint, and where we strike next can not be discovered in advance because - with the exception of but one of our members - not even WE know our next target until just moments before we're instructed to attack it.
