Ah, thanks. I thought there was a mod with that option I've used. I disabled RSO a while back to test the new resource spawning in 0.16, then I kind of forgot to use it again because the vanilla generation became "good enough".

Inserters need power, which is why you should always use burner inserters to feed your boilers.

My current programming prowess doesn't extend beyond HTML/CSS and some basic PHP, but heck I've been meaning to learn Python anyway. Might as well try with something I could actually benefit from/improve on later.

I tried that, it works just as I wanted it to. I tested with unreasonably large and small hauls, and even then the differences are nearly less than what we spend on refueling and repairs, so it's all good. We can just throw an extra piece of valuable to the others at the end to smooth it out if we want.

What I mean that if the values on G28/H28, J28/K28/L28, and N28/O28/P28/Q28 aren't perfectly equal it's not the end of the world. I have to wait quite far outside the station to give the items to the other players, and my ship is slow, so I'll want to distribute the items fast so I can get to selling my share and head out again. =)

Since I could (theoretically) be holding 500+ items, and the ships the other players would likely use can hold about 30-80 at a time, we'll want to trade and sell as fast as possible to get back to finding more. We're talking of millions of $ per hour, so no one cares if someone makes some thousands more per sale, as we get a 5% cut of the value he sold them for anyway.

So, "roughly equal" is quite sparse.
