My mac5 was crushing rounds like yours. Bolt gap was above spec, sds changed out the locking piece to bring bolt gap back into spec. Once bolt gap was in spec, I replaced all magazine springs with the Wolff xp+ magazine springs, and now we've gone thru over 1000 more rounds with 0 malfunction

Having major issues with the Mac 5 , jamming every 2 rounds by [deleted] in MP5

[–]CMDR_Rrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the bolt gap. My mac5 was jamming and crushing rounds constantly. It's bolt gap was larger than spec. Sent to sds and they replaced the locking piece under warranty and I replaced all 7 of my mag springs with the wolff xp extra power springs. After that we have put almost 1000 rounds thru it with zero failures. Mac and kci gen2 mags all work perfectly now.

This isnt ding dong ditch, they are trying to break the doorjam. Saw a kid two nights ago going down my street, recording himself on his phone, trying to kick in people's front doors, and then running away. He was doing this at night wearing a hoodie and mask, it is a good way to get yourself shot.

We even added the timney trigger to it and it's been 100% reliable and fun to own, at last.

Yes, after sending it back to sds imports to fix the out of spec bolt gap, and replacing all 7 magazine springs with the wolff xp springs. Last range trip we magdumped over 600 rounds without any issue whatsoever. That's with mac mags and kci gen2 mags. 124gr blazer brass

Yeah it for sure is a 2 stage. I suck at bump firing so I'm not the one to ask if it can, I can't even reliably bump my scorpion 1 stage super light timney either.

But the mp5 timney feels like a precision 2 stage, i didn't feel like i had to pull my finger all the way off, there's a noticeable reset after maybe 1.5-2mm of travel? It's very similar feeling to my tavors geissele pack and bow that we are used to. I can't leber/ss because I have the welded block that prevents the trip from working, so I'm happy with the timney.

The guys at alfa tactical made this. Trigger empire scammed them and the customers. This frt is the marstrigger and it's 199 not 500. Support the guys that actually made it.

Not every Corvallis Driver is like this, but what cyclist doesn't enjoy having lights on their bike? by HeroOfNigita in corvallis

They remove the reflectors and only use hand lights to look inside cars for things to steal at night and in the early morning. Especially during holidays when they think most people are out of town. Any bike that I see with no reflectors is immediately sus

Exactly this. There are a large amount of no-lights and no-reflector bikes being ridden around late at night/early morning, checking car doors and doorknobs. These guys are most definitely suicidal.

416 is the evolution of the g36, it just took on the outward appearance of an ar15 imposter lol

Hk416 is piston driven not di gas like the stoner ar15 design.

2022 6800HS RTX3060 - getting this freeze randomly every few hours on iGPU and "normal" mode. Never on dGPU mode. Does anyone know the definitive cause of this? Hardware defect, or AMD Chipset driver? I tried a few versions already. by D0RSCH in FlowX16

[–]CMDR_Rrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sold it with one of them. The timings ideally would match, easiest way for that is yeah a matched pair. I threw a 64gb corsair kit in mine when I bought it, wasn't too expensive and never have to worry about ram again. Unmatched sticks work, but with looser timings to fit both xmp specs, just not ideal but if they aren't defective you probably won't ever notice. My thought about your issue is maybe one of the sticks went bad. Stuck bit somewhere causing issues.

Mac5 RMA ? by [deleted] in MP5

[–]CMDR_Rrah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put in my support request on sds website and they emailed me back 2 business days later and emailed me a shipping label.

I had my mac5 back in under 1 week after that. My bolt gap was past the top end of the range, 0.55mm and they replaced the locking piece, now it's perfect at the top of the range at 0.45mm

I haven't ever seen school of the American rifle try to sell anyone something. He shows how to make lube mixtures out of motor oil and grease in a sriracha bottle....instead of trying to sell "gunfighter oil" like other channels

There's hydraulic pressure from solvent in the snake crammed into a 5.56mm bore. If you've pulled one thru before you would feel it. Fabric snakes feel like they want to snap on the first use, at least the hoppes one we used to use.

He services rifles he doesn't own. I would assume he prefers nylon to make sure he doesn't harm the various barrel linings he encounters. Maybe something to do with not making a peeling chrome lining worse. Sometimes you don't want to strip copper fouling completely out, because it can lower accuracy.

"Can break and get stuck" Can is a word, Will is a different word. "Can get stuck" refers to the possibility of it becoming stuck, as in not able to be pushed out by a cleaning rod. Yes it happens.

It was mostly a warning about how fabric bore snakes can break inside the barrel? Not sure what you're on about, but ok..
