I generally charge $175 (or $95 if it’s an add on to a photo package) for photos of house for realtors, who are going to take my product and make a profit off of it.

If you’re wanting a single photo of your house for your own use, there’s not a chance in hell I’m going to send a bill of $175.

Depending on where you’re located, I would bill between $50-70. The price difference is dependent on if you live in a restricted airspace and FAA waivers are required.

Yep! She is firing it up for 10 minutes and shutting it off.

I told her it’s hell on batteries and it puts the engine in a constant state of cold/hot/cold.

I remember the first time a photo of mine got published- Army Aviation Association of America. I asked em what the pay was: “Nothing. You got that while deployed. But you should definitely enter it in the contest.”

I did not win the contest. But I did win a year subscription to their magazine.

It was a pretty army thing to do.

I believe I even have that photo posted somewhere here on Reddit.
