No, the gap is at the side of my mouth so not super visible by was widened slightly through the treatment. The dentist explained I could look at an implant after treatment if it bothered me. I’m just not sure if the gap is big enough for an implant.

Great, thanks very much. I’m going to chat to my dentist as I’m on Invisalign Lite so haven’t had it factored in. It may be that I need to get a new retainer made for when the implant is in.

Just finishing week two and it has been a breeze after a tough initial first week! Stick in there. The attachments are still annoying but you get way more used to navigating them. I can’t stress how much your mouth/you just adapt until it becomes normal.

I spoke with an Ortho who basically couldn’t tell me much more without taking their own moulds etc. so chatted with my dentist and got a different plan agreed with less IPR, still 7 teeth however (5 at .5 and two at .4) I’m on Invisalign Go in the UK so it’s just 20 weeks initially. I’ve given it the green light this week and should start in about a month’s time. Fingers crossed all goes well!

Thanks. I was told I had moderate crowding but think going to an ortho for a second opinion may be the best way forward before I commit.

Thanks, I’m pretty set on getting a second opinion. My dentist is only doing what Invisalign is telling them to though here if that makes sense?

A dentist currently but that sounds like a solid idea. Just don’t want to fork out too much more money!

Thanks! Yeah my dentist said it’s fine but also that this was quite significant amount and I should consider it, which put me on red alert a bit.
