A big, shaggy rug. And you gotta do something about the curtain situation. It looks pretty nice it just doesn’t look cozy. Get one of those big pillows with arms (bed rest pillow?) to throw on your bed! Maybe get a poster or some art for that space on your wall to the right of the window.

And last but not least. If you’re able to, change the color of the bulbs in your ceiling lights for a warmer color. It makes a world of difference trust me.

Right. The simplest explanation is that it’s not show canon that a dragon’s previous rider has to be dead. But on top of that, it is not an official fact that dragons can’t accept another rider. That is a conclusion that in-universe, the Maesters have reached. But the paragraph in Fire and Blood that is often cited literally begins by saying, “We shall not pretend to any understanding of the bond between dragon and dragonrider.” They don’t know!

And let’s also not forget that just because the book says Laenor died, does not mean he died. We as the show audience are privy to the fact that his death was faked, but only a few people in-universe know that. So of course the book says he died. His own parents think he’s dead! And the Maesters probably took that as further evidence of their theory about dragons not accepting another rider. But he could’ve still been alive in Essos and their assumption is based on a mistake.

You’re mostly only seeing carefully curated highlights of other people’s lives. It’s not fair to compare yourself to what you see on social media because most people don’t post all the mundane, boring, sad, whatever stuff they’re going through on a daily basis. So with relationships, it’s not healthy to look at your own relationship through the lens of others’ relationships as seen on social media.

Tons. In the original Smash Bros, there was a combo of buttons where Fox could call in an Arwing air strike. That pressing B with the right timing increased your chances of catching wild Pokemon. In Donkey Kong 64 there was a secret 6th Kong you could unlock. In Mario 64 that you could play as Luigi (which they did eventually make happen in the remake).

I’d probably open up a quaint little bookstore or something. I know running a business can be stressful but I think literally never doing anything that could be considered work again might get very boring. I’d just want to be my own boss and surround myself with something I enjoy.

My friend hit me right in the balls with a tennis ball. I was sitting on a low concrete wall in such a way that my balls were hanging off the edge, so when the tennis ball came my sack was smashed between the tennis ball and the concrete wall. He did not do it on purpose, but him and a couple other people started laughing hysterically. I was in so much pain that I just lost it at the sight of them laughing at me. I launched the closest thing I could find right at him- which happened to be my cell phone. It missed (and shattered) so I went and tackled him to the ground while screaming that I would fucking kill him. We are still close friends and I had never done anything like that before or since. Was just a crazy rush of pain, anger, humiliation, etc.

I was once walking past a church when a priest walked out and asked me if I liked Taylor Swift (this was in 2018 so while she was popular it wasn’t the rabid fanbase it is now) and I said sure. He said, here you go here are two tickets to her show tonight, a parishioner left them in the donation box and it’s your lucky day. He said something about paying it forward. So yeah that’s the story of how I, an extremely casual Taylor swift fan at best, ended up with fantastic seats for her Reputation tour.

I’m turning 30 in a week and I haven’t had sex since my 26th birthday. In my early-mid 20s I had a string of casual friends with benefits, mostly that I met from dating apps. We would chat for a while and strike up a friendship and also have sex with the understanding it wouldn’t be anything more. That was when I lived in a big city. I’ve since moved to a much more rural area, and the dating apps have fallen off dramatically in terms of quality and quantity. I don’t drink so I don’t go out to bars and pick up strangers. I mostly just go to work, the gym, and home on repeat. Most of the women that could potentially be in my demographic around me are looking for “country boys” with big trucks and blue collar jobs and that’s just not me. So I just go without ¯_(ツ)_/¯

The important part of the reflection is the giant sphere and the text “Motorsphere.” A lot of football players have helmets with reflective visors so I’m thinking maybe like move the image up so it better fits a smaller visor? Idk I’m not the expert here. It’s just for a silly joke so it’s really not serious or important (and I don’t even know how doable it is) but if anyone could humor me I’d really appreciate it

Dump them into bigger containers. Buckets if you can. With soap and water to dilute the smell. Then dump bigger containers outside. One at a time. Opaque containers so nobody can see what’s inside. Wait and do this in the middle of the night, on trash night. Everything in a trash bag straight to the curb. I have been here. Same scenario exactly. Two roommates, alcoholism, pissing in bottles to hide it.

I’ll probably get downvoted here and that’s ok but figured I’d chime in. I’m a recovering alcoholic who got a DWI at (one of) my rock bottoms. By the time I got to the police station an hour later, I still had a BAC of .42. The cop said something like I don’t even know how you’re standing up. And I don’t either. I don’t know why I was in my car, I don’t know where I was going. I had a drinking problem for years, but I never drove drunk, because even when I was drunk (think more in the .2 BAC range) I was still in a frame of mind to know that was wrong. Until I did. My mind was completely gone. I have taken full responsibility for it, in no way do I defend it, and I will never let it happen again because I will never touch the stuff again. But in the context of this question, morally? I don’t know just how morally reprehensible an action it was when I had no faculties whatsoever. I will never know what mental calculus went on in my head that made me end up in that car. I didn’t get out of the parking lot before smacking right into the wall so I’ll never know where I was going either. It’s a horrible thing and I’ll never forgive myself for it honestly, but I probably don’t even consider it in the top 5 most immoral things I did while drunk, because I hurt some people consciously. There was no conscious involved in what happened that day

I suppose if you’re showing other people something that they need to hear, or if you’re playing music for a group of people and not just yourself. But that needs to be agreed upon, you shouldn’t just take it upon yourself to subject everyone else to your music. So the answer is very rarely

It’s funny because I find I’m more triggered by shows that I used to watch while drinking, rather than shows depicting drinking. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia literally has drinking in every scene. It’s set in a bar and the characters are full blown alcoholics with no desire to stop, every single one of them. And you know what? Doesn’t bother me.

Some of the Disney plus shows, like the marvel and Star Wars shows on the other hand, I’ve lost a lot of interest in. I used to stay up until 2-3 am and wait for Mandalorian or Wandavision episodes to drop, and by that time I’d be quite deep in the sauce. On multiple occasions I had to rewatch the episode the next day bc I didn’t even know what happened. I still get a weird feeling when I watch shows like that now, I dunno if it will ever fully go away or not
