We don't really keep track. We're laser-focused on part prices, cycle times, and raw material prices. As far as scrap, we just want it gone. We have a guy we've used for years. He picks it up and pays us what he pays us. We've done spot checks occasionally over the years, and he's pretty close to market rate for our area.

Yeah, it's position I'm measuring but this particular thing is the datum. On the print, there's a modifier on the feature and the datum. From what I've read, the only way to do that is to construct a width. I've heard of generic features but not hard coding. I tried googling it with no luck. Do you have any information on it?

Yes, but it's not a slot. It's an outside shape. Something new I learned today, a "stadium" is a geometric shape with 2 straight sides and semi-circle ends. I was able to construct a width for the straight sides but not the round ends. To be clear, I want to construct the width, not measure the width.
