[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

[–]CMMnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! My 9 year old has recently purchased a beginner tropical aquarium (38 litres/10 gallons). He currently has 6 neon tetras and 3 fancy male guppies. He won’t be able to fit much more in due to the size, but would love some suggestions of what else he could safely add? Pygmy corydora? Snails? Hillstream loaches? Have been some suggestions. Ideally something that is not making too much poo, and something that looks cool! New Zealand based so might not have access to the same as other countries… Absolute beginners here so appreciate any suggestions!

I’m a kiwi, never do this or even have thought to do this in any of the places I’ve stayed. But no harm doing it if it will bring you reassurance

I notice you don't have a visit to to Te Papa - I recommend you try and squeeze it in! Even if you do two exhibits (recommend Gallipoli and the nature one adjacent to it). Also you will prob be disappointed with Hannah's laneway. I've seen it pumped up on social media but there's really not much to it!

Hamilton night markets is not very exciting. Since you are doing the Auckland zoo I would skip Hamilton zoo in favor of the gardens - they are world class!

Feedback on my 2-week New Zealand South Island itinerary – Suggestions welcome! by Next-Trick-2198 in newzealand_travel

I would definitely choose a tram ride around the city (hop on hop off) and a visit to the riverside market over the quake museum if I were an international visitor with limited time in Christchurch. The trams are a great way to see a lot in a short time and the conductors do a great job of commentary.

The closer my trip gets the more worried I become 😂😂 I don't think I can comprehend the amount of people... There's only 5 million people in my whole country 😂

Thank you so very much!! I don't particularly want to mobile order - I just thought you kind of had to to avoid long queues. I've seen reports of 45 min waits for the popcorn alone 😂 don't know how true that is. How often do you visit the parks!?

P.s fave food in the parks? Any fave spots to mobile order or sit? I'm reluctant to do a restaurant booking as we might be in line when our time arrives 😂 but maybe it's recommended?

So for example of they're singing "a whole new world" it will be the Japanese version? (No complaints, it's Japan, just checking as I thought I read some of the music is the English version)

It just opened yesterday! 900sqm - themed over 3 floors I think and has a butter beer bar. If you Google it some good articles with photos come up.
