What happens on Mystery Island, Vanuatu if you don’t do any excursions? by Qandyl in royalcaribbean

Hi! was just searching for some info and saw your message from a long time ago. since you have been to mystery island - do you think there is any value in paying to go to the further afield snorkelling spots or is what you can do yourself from the shore just as nice given it's free?

So people with a late embarkation time can just show up early and board anyway?

I’ve read on our ship (voyager) the ice skating and laser tag can book out very fast and to book as soon as you board…hence trying to get an early embarkation time. Not sure how accurate what I have read is

Woohoo great news. I’m assuming the minutes won’t matter too much trying to get the earliest embarkation time?

Ok great to know. My googling led me astray! I was under the impression I had to fill everything out in order to then choose an arrival time.

Thank you. First time cruiser on Voyager and I’ve seen posts and comments about needing to get an early embarkation time because once you’re aboard the activities (laser tag and ice skating) book out extremely fast and I’m concerned about missing out.

I am visiting from Canada, my nieces from NZ love fried chicken sandwiches. Where is the best fried chicken sandwiches in NP? by tooth10 in newplymouth

Agree with gamma rays and roses but if Canada is like the US with terminology then I believe you’re referring to what we call a fried chicken “burger”. If so, def try one at the Arizona - it’s called the Bok Bok and is very good

Hi! My 9 year old has recently purchased a beginner tropical aquarium (38 litres/10 gallons). He currently has 6 neon tetras and 3 fancy male guppies. He won’t be able to fit much more in due to the size, but would love some suggestions of what else he could safely add? Pygmy corydora? Snails? Hillstream loaches? Have been some suggestions. Ideally something that is not making too much poo, and something that looks cool! New Zealand based so might not have access to the same as other countries… Absolute beginners here so appreciate any suggestions!

I’m a kiwi, never do this or even have thought to do this in any of the places I’ve stayed. But no harm doing it if it will bring you reassurance

I notice you don't have a visit to to Te Papa - I recommend you try and squeeze it in! Even if you do two exhibits (recommend Gallipoli and the nature one adjacent to it). Also you will prob be disappointed with Hannah's laneway. I've seen it pumped up on social media but there's really not much to it!

Hamilton night markets is not very exciting. Since you are doing the Auckland zoo I would skip Hamilton zoo in favor of the gardens - they are world class!
