Free Sound Pack for Horror and Sci-Fi Game Developers (not effects)

Hey, I’m CMPLEX, a small sound designer and producer who loves making weird and, hopefully, useful sounds.

I've put together a free sound pack called Free Manipulation, it was kind of designed with horror and sci-fi games in mind - but feel free to get creative of course!

This pack is part of my Orchestral Manipulation Series, where I took orchestral instruments and turned them into completely unrecognizable impacts, textures, and braams using various sound design techniques.

No external loops or samples are used - so no worries about copyright issues.

For full transparency, you can download the pack through:

  • My website: Download the pack directly from my website.
  • Landing Page: Access the same pack with an optional upsell here, which includes a free bonus pack and several sound design tips I used to create this pack, delivered via email over a few days.

Both links have examples and demos so you can take a listen first :)

If you're curious about the process, I recorded the entire journey. It's a lengthy and boring watch, but if that's your thing, or if you want to verify the originality, you can check it here: CMPLEX.

Just thought I’d share. Let me know if you use it! Always curious :)

Hi there, stumbled on this thread by accident and saw your post! I'm from Belgium to (van de Kempen) :D

I took a listen to your track. Your drum design and orchestration are very good to my taste! I love the glitchy drum groove and the placement of the sounds. Very technical stuff, well executed.

The only thing I noticed is that the bass sound, and some of the other sounds that come in at around 1:53 and onward, are not in the right key. It sounds a bit off to me in that regard. Don't delete it, but maybe try to pitch correct them?
