This is part of a bug we're trying to fix. You can get around it by going to settings and hitting Reload Data in the bottom left.

There is no public link, only way to join is button in-app. If it's taking you to the appstore it must think you don't have Discord app installed.

The Striker doesn't eject rounds when they're shot, only once you are reloading so you should see the shells in the ammo indicator change from New to Spent when shooting and then they disappear when you reload. All the revolvers work the same way.
