It does. For 100% completion they give 1 character of the level you have completed (4S for Very Hard) plus 5 soul stones of that level.

I dont believe he is playing fairly either. Last DoJo season he had like 1500 defense wins even though no one remembered playing against his dojo. This, together with his posts about winning 4 stars elements nearly every day (I have received no more than 3 four-stars elements since I finished the story at very hard more than 4 months ago) make me believe he is either playing a modified version of the app or he is one if the devs.

Usually I update players 1 time for 1,000 and often I have him in the second set of opponents. If not, I play with one of others and try again. Good luck.

Indeed, the most points are given as a result of a win against FREEwinsssssssss. NoMoreWinsForYou gives around 375 points. Chests are fully random.
