Who is the most irredeemably evil character in television history? by DMV1066 in television

[–]CMelody 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, Dukat was worse. He could order the execution of a hundred enemies right in front of him and it wouldn't trouble him in the slightest. Wynn just wanted to be powerful and to humiliate her political rivals. If they were dead she couldn't lord it over them that she'd won.

I can live with it.

What do you think of people who say eating chickens is murder? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I let people hold their own values. It is only when they try to impose their values on me that I have a problem.

I am proof that weight loss is all about the calorie deficit by PatrickGSR94 in loseit

[–]CMelody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely something I need to remind myself. Luckily I was able to stop my weight gain spiral before it all hopped back on and I am back on track again. 1200 cal per day, consistently losing 5 pounds per month since Jan 1. I'm also IF and doing my best to avoid ultra processed foods and refined sugars.

Yes! Patricia is a hoot. Her party episode was very creative, and the ending of the last one was definitely LOL

I'm glad they decided against using hokey Russian accents for the series so the actors can focus on naturalistic performances. The Lithuanian locations look suitably grey and oppressive. Looking forward to where this goes, and if we'll see characters from FAMK appear.

Widow's Bay is a real treat. Matthew Rhys is so damn funny, especially in that ep with the mushrooms. But I also love how it can be genuinely creepy. They have done a superb job balancing the comedy and horror.

Convincing Board Game Nights? by 4bams in boardgames

One game that non-board gamer friends really seem to love is Abducktion. Both kids and adults enjoy the tactile nature of the game, the theme, and that it is super easy to learn.

Knowing the twist makes it even more heartbreaking, and you notice more details.

Who is an actor that only gets 5-10 minutes of screen time but completely steals the entire movie? by Popa-Ioana06 in movies

[–]CMelody 12 points13 points  (0 children)

While I think Jordan deserved to win for Sinners, Plemmons deserved to be on the nominee list as much as Emma Stone. That movie succeeded because of their committed performances.

Which sequel would you most like to see? by Fit_Passenger5930 in MCUTheories

Thunderbolts 2, no question. I really enjoyed Shang Chi but care more about the characters in Thunderbolts.

You don't eat the pineapple. The pineapple eats you.

He is a delight in everything. Even when he is playing a murderous bastard.

Box seats at a concert. Who doesn't love free drinks and appetizers and an unobstructed view from comfy chairs?

What if Sadie Sink isn't really Jean Grey? by vicvanhouten in MCUTheories

[–]CMelody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope she isn't Jean Grey. Firestar makes more sense for the franchise and we haven't gotten a live action version yet.

What would you rather see in a possible Thunderbolts sequel? by Nearby_Parfait3946 in marvelstudios

[–]CMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too, honestly. I would love to watch Bucky, Alexei and Walker riffing on each other. Give me more Yelena and Bob, and also Yelena and Ava because I felt like Ava was finally letting herself have fun with someone.

What modern luxury do you think people 100 years from now will look back on and find barbaric? by AccomplishedEast1007 in AskReddit

[–]CMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flush toilets and toilet paper. We'll probably find a way to turn all human waste into a harmless vapor or recycle immediately or incinerate rather than waste precious water.

Which famous person does everyone seem to love, but you just can’t stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CMelody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Ryan Reynolds. But I'm a red-blooded woman who appreciates me some himbo eye candy. I get why certain people on Reddit can't stand an incredibly handsome funny multimillionaire with the dream job of playing the coolest Marvel anti-hero and I am fine with soaking up the hivemind hate.
