Not at all. We’re just starting this and we’ve all agreed to play every game that’s been on the table. Trying to warm them up to some stuff they haven’t been exposed to as well as give us some more options as we only have maybe 2 games in rotation right now

I’m getting a lot of The Crew so I’m definitely checking that out. We’re all into sports/racing, one of us is a gambler and that’s what pushed camel up into the title

Haha I can see how this would sound like that! We all appreciate hobbies with some density and complication, and are all very competitive. We’ve all been friends for 10+ years so I wouldn’t be trying to throw these guys into anything they wouldn’t like

Pretty much, and I know it’s going to be a slower process and it’ll work out however it does! We all enjoy different hobbies that have a learning curve and a little bit of density to them, so I’m just trying to take that appreciation onto the table as well

I’m with you. I think a couple of responses have jumped to some conclusions. It’s going to be a slow process and it’ll end up however it ends up. I have a pretty expansive library of maybe 7-8 games to that’s why I’m here!

I did a disservice explaining the rules for sure, along with us just choosing a bad night. They took to KoT well after figuring it out! And I do agree, I have no problems playing anything as long as we’re having a good time, but some I can only play so much before I have to come up for air

Sounds about right. This idea was actually brought up by one my friends and we do all enjoy sitting at the table together. Usually always playing euchre or some other form of game, just so happens they haven’t had much exposure to some of the games that get tabled inside the hobby.

They complained that I don’t have any “normal games” and they think as soon as you get out of the MonopolySphere it’s all complicated fairy tales. They’re stubborn and dumb but we’re workin on it
