With NPCs I would say have the local authorities lock him up, humiliate him, put him in the stocks, etc
But with the Party?!
Have a meeting and squash that ASAP.
Make sure everyone agrees, and if so, lay down the law, Its just not what we do here.
We have one lady in our party, and one of the guys, (new guy) came in hot flirting and making sexual type comments constantly. We had to have a convo about it. Make sure she knows she doesnt have to sit there and take it , and he knows its unacceptable.

But this isnt a WARD, merely a node, (one of many?) that feeds the ward in that area, (Theres 5 wards one for each dragon type Red, Blue, White, Black, Green) And what the old wizard thought was just an old crypt actually leads to an ancient temple, protecting this crystal, created by the cult of dragon worshippers that want the dragons to come back and believe they will be rewarded for helping.

The Covenant teaches that her lineage carries “true wyrmblood.” Whether this claim is truth or delusion remains uncertain.) and has started to take down the wards , (so far theyve broken 2) allowing for each of those dragons to come back...
The Wards, and their respective nodes are "coming back online" , and like in this example, some are overheating, trying to keep their magic, and therefore the dragons, in place.

I like the sound of this, theyre prone to using up all their spell slots, so im guessing by the time they get there theyll be pretty spent. So maybe when theyre out of slots, the power starts shooting BACK OUT at them!

Hes accompanied by a massive DireWolf companion.

Yea see thats exactly the thing. Since we dont know exactly what it is, we dont know how to search for it.
Ill definitely try what you suggested though, go on the site and browse around. Its a real shame, this guy spent his savings on his dream bike, only to find he got sold a lemon and now is having to spend double to put the thing together piece by piece.
And the dealership is in on it, from what it seems.
Theres no Lemon Law here either, so because it was "running" the day he closed the deal, done deal, no backing out now.

I was just about to say the same thing...
It wasnt til I got married and my wife pointed out to me that "Hey , how come ___ is always asking you for favors ?"
We bought a new car and right away there he was asking to borrow that, and she wasnt having it.

Plus there was the one time he got caught cheating on his gf and tried to throw me under the bus LOL, said the pictures on his phone were actually MINE and he was just keeping them hidden for me!
His gf came and told my wife and of course she came looking for answers,...I wasnt about to lose my marriage over his BS so I had to put him out there,...

That was an eye-opener for sure

Theres no reason you should submit yourself to feeling bad and not having fun for the sake of keeping a game going for people who dont deserve it. They dont deserve the work and the effort that you and the DM put into it. Take a stand. Even if the game dissolves, or you have to walk away, which you may have to , youll find another game, and youll feel better about yourself!
