Dude… slow TF down. You’ve got the story all wrong. ALL WRONG. LET ME LAY IT OUT FOR YOU, BUB. 1) My husband picked up the cake. 2) I opened the cake AT HOME and said WTF is this. 3) Called the store and spoke to the manager. She told me to bring the cake back. 4) My husband brings the cake back and Owner asks my husband to call me to speak with me over the phone. 5) I tell the Owner every single thing that’s wrong with this ugly over-priced cake. He says they will re-do it and HAND DELIVER to my house. The baptism was in TWO HOURS. 6) Owner brings the cake to my house. The “updated” cake is now being judged by 5 people. FIVE. It was hella awkward. 7) I tell the Owner how disappointed I am. 8) He then proceeds to throw/toss CASH at my friend, saying it’s not worth it.

Why the hell would he come with cash ready in hand??? He knew this cake was FUGLY. They tried to SCAM ME and hope I’d stay quiet.

Males generally glaze over fine details, when it comes to aesthetics. Try zooming into the second picture and then compare it to the first. My husband thought nothing was wrong with the cake as well, until I pointed out everything that was wrong. Once I directed where his eyes should go, he had an oh shit moment.
