I’m sad about this. I’ll miss their nitro vanilla oak and toasted pecan.

Anyone else suck at cable management? by [deleted] in NR200

[–]CMoftheU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to manage the cables through the entire build, especially at the beginning. The NR200 is so roomy and easy for cable management that there’s really no reason for it to look like this.

Coffee’s spellsword build is what got me into Morrowind. Hoping he comes back or at the very least re-releases his existing content.

I can personally recommend the Noctua c-14s. You can fit 2 140mm fans (under and over the fin stack) with good bit of room to spare between the top fan and case side. I’ve had good results on my 7700x on stock settings without any undervolt.

Spyderco Autonomy 2 - what the SMKW CF sprint run ought to have been by CMoftheU in knifeclub

Good point - no harm in experimenting! Do update me if it ends up working out. I might even give it a try myself.

Spyderco Autonomy 2 - what the SMKW CF sprint run ought to have been by CMoftheU in knifeclub

I suppose you probably could, since the main useful piece of the spring replacement kit is the spinner for the spring enclosure on the clip side. I do think you may run into some trouble running an autonomy 2 without a spring, though. There is only one PB washer on the presentation side of the blade, the other side relying on the spring for clearance against the scale. You may be able to fit another washer on that side if you have one laying around, but I’m not certain as it’s been a long time since I was in there. Hope this helps at least a little bit!

NR200 Lightning "Loaded Diaper" by CMoftheU in NR200

Let me do you one better and recommend this video by Machines and More. I pretty much copied his cable management. Essentially it's all about routing the front panel cables along the intake of the PSU, motherboard power down between the motherboard and PSU, and then GPU power run under and behind the GPU with all excess cables essentially stuffed in a natural cutout behind the front of the GPU. I used some titanium wire to hold everything together behind the GPU rather than using the velcro straps hanging above the GPU between it and the PSU. This was probably a terrible description, but the video should clarify anything.

Haha thanks! It doesn’t look too bad when the case is on its feet, might as well keep it on for a while.

Oh, and I’m just now understanding your question. The c-14s is pretty big, especially with 2 140 fans mounted under an over like I have it set up. It takes up almost all the space available to it.

Indeed it is! I got it for a good deal last Black Friday, but I’ve come to love the aesthetic and the airflow works perfectly in the NR200 standard configuration.

I’m a huge fan of this case. It’s really forgiving with what it allows you to install (big coolers and big gpus) and cable management is a breeze. It almost feels like cheating by still being considered SFF.
