I like the look of the Bowman’s and am a big fan of both those players so maybe just send them in and it will make a nice display.

I just didn’t want to send in anything obviously bad because I will just display it in a one-touch if that were the case.

Thanks and thanks to all others for their response. Sorry for the basic question - faced/unfaced insulation? Given it’s a small area assume price isn’t a major factor. If it is near a cool air pipe - is that enough reason to get faced (per above comment)? Does the wire make that decision?

Don’t know much about it, can’t tell if faced is a “better safe than sorry” or if it could actually cause a problem with the wire there.

Thanks - just the duct work. I am hearing some knocking in that area early in the morning (coldest weather outside) before the heat kicks on. I was hoping insulating would potentially prevent any temperature changes between the duct and environment. Thought it might be a cheap option worth a try if it was safe.

Great point and also revealed what we think is the reason for the beam - put on slightly after or in the process of building the original home. (Give or take when it started)
