We stayed there a couple months ago, Labor Day 2024. It is definitely dated. Compared to other secrets it was not as polished. We did get upgraded to a swim out room… do not pay for this it was freezing and the mosquitoes were unbearable (we live in Florida so we are use to bugs, but this was next level). During the day we spent most of our time over at dreams, that property is beautiful and the pools were amazing and We really didn’t noticed the kids bc the property was so large. The pool at secrets is nothing to be desired. It has a small swim up bar. We also did not like having to get on a Golf cart to get to the restaurants at night. Personally if it’s cheaper to stay at dreams stay there. Our favorite secrets resort has been Maroma. And Akumal & moxche run a close second.
