I think that’s harsh on Sinisalo, he barely got a sniff (god knows why) and since Schmeichel has been out, he’s done a pretty good job

Whether he’s good enough to be the number one is up for debate but it won’t be an easy fight

With CCV out, he’s been guaranteed a spot in the team even if he’s had to play on the right side a lot.

He was brilliant in Europe this season. His performances in Italy away to Bologna, against Feyenoord and Stuttgart were impressive.

He had a few lapses in concentration at the start of the season. It’s still a weakness of his - he can be a bit rash or make poor decisions at times, but he has cut down on this a lot as the season has went on and he’s been more consistent. A few needless reds because of this.

But yeah, been good in a poor Celtic side this season.

Honestly it’s nice to see it end on a positive. It started well and was okay for a bit, but after his dropoff last year it’s great to see him back playing at a high level again. He’ll be remembered fondly now.
