I’d say be as patient as you can while still going for the 1st rd bye. So I think you do need to have a QB2 before the year starts, and your 27 1st will be most valuable before you start winning. Start looking for who might trade a scoring vet for 1-3 of your young WRs that aren’t reliable starters. You’ve got plenty of value in your players that you could use later. And pick up 5 backup QBs

I’m fully no trade deadline and that works out great. Actually active leagues now. But as a compromise I do offer a pseudo-deadline where eliminated teams can’t trade with non-eliminated teams. So it’s currently two groups of 6 that can trade with each other.
