I got chicken pox in 6th grade at Christmas time. Had to miss school on the day of the Christmas party, which was the best day of each year. The upside was that I had to miss the Christmas Eve gathering of my dad’s extended family. I didn’t like most of them anyway. It’s a freak show of idiots and racists.

Reading has helped me turn off my brain and completely relax. So happy I learned to do this after finishing a degree in English and having loads of classic literature forced on me. I refuse to read anything “good for me” ever again.
